100m sprint

Friday 12/04-2019 Ludvig (Ludde) Søgne Jensen will challenge the World Cup athletes and the fastest amateur skiers to a 100m sprint competition.
If think you can beat the elite, you can aim for a spot through the open qualifying rounds – limited qualifier spots available:

Qualifier: start 16.00 – 17.30
Final: start 19.30 – 20.30

 

QUALIFIER SPOTS:

90 minute qualifier, two lanes, where a total of 300 participants can try to qualify. On average, that is one start per 30 seconds per lane.

Knockout 4 vs 4 in the heats.

MEN: 32 participants: 8dels, quart, semifinal og final.
WOMEN: 16 participants: quart, semifinal and final.

The participants in the knockout stage will be 50/50 pre-qualified sprinters and sprinter who have advanced from the qualifier.

PRICE: 250 NOK

 

RULES:

Start: start pistol, no start grid.

1 false start = yellow card (which you carry with you through the rest of the competition)
2 false starts = disqualified.

Choosing lanes. The person with the best time from the qualifier have first choice of lane.

Advancing in heat. Nr 1 and 2 in the heat move on (time is irrelevant).

8: 2, 15, 18, 32.

Quarter-finals:

1: 2 best from Round of 16 1 og 2.
2: 2 best from Round of 16 3 og 4.
3: 2 best from Round of 16 5 og 6.
4: 2 best from Round of 16 7 og 8.

Semi-finals:

1: 2 best fra quarter-final 1 og 2.
2: 2 best fra quarter-final 2 og 3.

Finals:

The 2 best from semifinals 1 and 2.
